Database Building Via the Web

Valley Services Inc.
Using the Web to Capture Information
Valley wished to capitalize on the popularity of the Web for information gathering by their clients. Their current site had failed to “sell” their services and did not adequately differentiate the company from their competition, and was not set up to capture useful information about visitors to the site.
ACTION: GodwinGroup developed a detailed company and product information site that captured information about the customer and gave Valley a platform for strategic customer relationship marketing (CRM). The site included a media room – featuring news releases, sales information and company bios – as well as an updated design and quality photography to graphically sell their services. The company’s position, as determined through GodwinGroup's BrandQuest™ process, positioned Valley as innovative, creative and “bringing fresh ideas to the table” – a sentiment that eventually became the company’s tagline across all media.
REACTION: Valley leveraged increased visitation to the Web site and the database information gathered to create a wide variety of successful CRM programs still in use today.
