The Main Event.
Following several years of unprecedented innovation that was met with lackluster performance, Groen turned to GodwinGroup to “polish up” their brand and bring it back to life. The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers Show was the chosen venue, and the general strategy was to communicate visually, graphically and orally the company’s revived brand. While the goal of the sales event was to generate interest in Groen’s products, the desire was to showcase the company’s new “attitude” as well.
ACTION: A major sales event was planned to bring together reps, consultants, dealers and the client to interact and experience the products in a celebratory atmosphere. Godwin’s public and media relations efforts pre-disposed the audiences to attend the event which consisted of sales tactics overlaid with a party atmosphere.
REACTION: The client proclaimed the sales event the most successful in their history and reported a 42% increase in sales for their fourth quarter following NAFEM in September.
